How Novo Nordisk improved its patient engagement

As a global healthcare company with more than 95 years of innovation and leadership in diabetes care, Novo Nordisk is known for driving change to defeat diabetes and other serious chronic diseases. Among other things, this requires a sharp focus on patients and their needs – an area in which Novo Nordisk leads the way.

Caliber has worked with the company’s Global Patient Relations team throughout 2018 to put in place a new and improved system of understanding and acting on the perceptions of its patients – from exploring the company’s overall reputation to interpreting patients’ behavior and finding out how to engage them effectively.

We set up a tracker covering 12 markets worldwide: from Brazil, Argentina and USA to India and Japan – and all large European markets in between. Caliber team worked with Novo Nordisk to distill and implement key insights globally and locally, and designed a future-oriented Patient Insight program that can help the team contribute to the company’s business goals going forward.
