Caliber & Boehringer Ingelheim at Kommunikations Kongress 2025: The Future of Stakeholder Intelligence

For the second year in a row, Caliber took part in the annual Kommunikations Kongress — Germany’s leading communications event — held in Berlin on 11–12 September 2025.

Caliber’s CEO Shahar Silbershatz shared the stage with Médard Schoenmaeckers, Country Managing Director Germany at Boehringer Ingelheim to explore “The Future of Stakeholder Intelligence” — a session that examined how AI, always-on analytics and a multi-stakeholder approach can help organizations predict concerns earlier, respond faster and build trust more effectively.

During their session, Shahar explained how stakeholder intelligence has evolved from traditional, point-in-time research to continuous monitoring.

“We used to talk about brand and reputation measurement and data. Today we talk more about stakeholder intelligence – collecting and analyzing information about the people who matter to your business. With AI-powered analysis, we’re moving from describing what happened to predicting stakeholder concerns before they arise and prescribing responses in real time.”

He outlined how Caliber’s platform brings together survey data, media monitoring, market information, and external sources into a unified system, with an AI assistant that contextualizes the data and makes insights more actionable for decision-makers.

Médard Schoenmaeckers — who also joined Caliber’s Always On podcast previously to discuss rebranding and stakeholder trust — offered a perspective from the pharmaceutical industry, where AI is already transforming research and stakeholder engagement.

He emphasized how communications must play a central role in this cultural shift.

“By structuring hundreds of touchpoints – from patient data to Caliber’s reputation dashboard – we can now see patterns and deliver far more precise insights to regulators, doctors and politicians. That higher, more sophisticated level of narrative helps us create more trust with our stakeholders.”

The session below highlights how stakeholder intelligence is evolving: from annual reports to real-time data, from single-stakeholder views to multi-stakeholder ecosystems, and from descriptive metrics to actionable insights.

This session is a must-watch for everyone, who’s interested in learning more about a future where technology accelerates analysis, but trust continues to be built through people.
